Senior Financial Accountant

Key Accountabilities

• Support the new logistics entities and M&A projects in APAC
• Assist with new company setup and shared services centre in APAC
• Assist in management reporting, forecasting and budgeting on a timely basis
• Develop new accounting policies and procedures for new businesses.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including HO in Dubai and assist with the acquisition and integration of new businesses.
• Provide business and financial analysis on existing and new businesses
• Coordinate with relevant professional firms to ensure all compliance reporting is met (ie tax, audit and other regulatory requirements)
• Taking a lead role in driving improvements in systems and processes throughout the company

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior Big 4 experience and Chartered Certified Accountant – ACCA certified or Equivalent
• Financial and Accounting knowledge in logistic & freight forwarding preferred
• At least 7-10 years experience in similar position
• Experience with major ERP system required (Oracle Fusion preferred)
• Strong exposure to IFRS &Oracle ERP system and leadership, management, strategic planning and analytical skills
• Excellent thinking and problem solving, communication, leadership and collaboration. Also should be able to handle multiple priorities in diversed cultures
