Senior EHS Officer

In detail, you will:

• Monitor and ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety systems, emergency system are in good condition.
• Organize emergency incidents and drills, assume coordination role in accordance with the overall Emergency Response Plan.
• Develop Maintain & ensure the compliance of Environmental, Health and Safety system with EHS law & regulations.
• Ensure employee know potential of hazards and Environmental impact from workplace, process, or actives by developing and / or conducting Environmental, Health and Safety training programs and Continuous Improvement of ISO14001&45001
• Drive and follow up Plant Environmental, Health and Safety KPI’s
• Establish of Environmental, Health and Safety programs to build up Safety awareness.
• In accident / incident investigation and lead to find out root cause and corrective action including preventive action for recurrence
• Department Budget Control
• Ensure all safety equipment and emergency systems are available and be ready all the time by monitoring, provide notification, communication, and coordination in the event of an emergency.
• Create and monitor all evident, activities, reports associate with Environmental, Health and Safety Legal, and other requirement.
• Advise the line function and management as well as contractors to ensure understanding their responsibilities in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Strengthen and maintain a company Environmental, Health and Safety standard in a high level by promoting safety awareness to all, conducting various safety training, internal audit, coordinating all departments to follow up all Environmental, Health and Safety concerned recommendations.
• Plan, Implement and maintain Environmental, Health and Safety policy and KPI’s
• Develop and conduct effective occupational health and hygiene related programs to ensure healthy workforce and safe and healthy working conditions and environment by implementation of efficient industrial hygiene including their periodic monitoring programs and medical recommendation / actions as necessary.
• Maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001 including transition and migration and ensure all align with requirement.
• Take part in accident / incident investigation and lead to find out root cause and corrective action including preventive action for recurrence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor ’s Degree, in Occupational Health and Safety
• At least 3-5 years experience in area of Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Certified as a Safety Officer (according to Thai Safety Law)
• Experience to support, Maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Good knowledge of modern Safety Management Skill. Exposure to EHS management in a medium to large corporations.
• Knowledge of safety & security equipment / systems.
• Very good interpersonal skills
• Must have skills in problem clarifications and crisis communications for the company and can build good rapport with governmental officers, emergency mutual aid partners and community leaders.
• Can effectively transfer skills and technology to other staff
• Good command of English
