Plan, manage, set goals, oversee, and monitor the safety, occupational health, and environmental operations of the TOA Group to align with the vision, mission, policies, and objectives of the TOA Group. Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental laws, as well as adherence to the requirements of the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System TIS/OHSAS 18001. This aims to prevent and reduce accidents and work-related illnesses, prevent pollution affecting communities and the environment, maintain security, and prevent fires to achieve the safety goals and policies of the TOA Group.
Plan and set safety, occupational health, and environmental goals in alignment with the vision, mission, and objectives of the TOA Group by reviewing and considering the TOA Group's safety, occupational health, and environmental policies, and presenting them to the executive committee. Additionally, prepare an annual safety, occupational health, and environmental plan to prevent and reduce the incidence of accidents and work-related illnesses, as well as to prevent impacts on the community and environment of the TOA Group.
Manage the communication system for new safety, occupational health, and environmental laws and standards that have been enacted. Communicate the new safety laws and regulations to relevant departments on a monthly basis. Additionally, monitor compliance and evaluate adherence to safety, occupational health, and environmental standards every six months. Track the submission of safety, occupational health, and environmental documents to government agencies to ensure strict compliance with laws and standards.
Manage the work related to the Environmental Management System ISO 14001, the Occupational Health and Safety Management System TIS/OHSAS 18001, as well as industrial hygiene and environmental monitoring. Provide guidance and oversee the implementation of the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System TIS/OHSAS 18001. Additionally, plan and monitor industrial hygiene and environmental inspections, and develop plans for improving and monitoring environmental quality to meet the requirements of standard systems and international standards
Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) by preparing and managing the budget, as well as setting standards for PPE. Ensure that all employees of the TOA Group wear PPE. Provide consultation, training, and guidance on the use of PPE to comply with legal standards and to suit the risk of each job. Additionally, oversee the distribution of PPE to employees of the TOA Group.
Manage campaigns and public relations regarding safety, occupational health, and environmental knowledge and information, as well as training and development in these areas. Conduct emergency response drills for all employees of the TOA Group. Plan monthly communication and public relations on safety, occupational health, and environmental topics. Prepare an annual training plan on safety, occupational health, and environmental issues to ensure that employees acquire knowledge and understanding, fostering a safety-conscious mindset among employees in the TOA Group and reducing the incidence of accidents and work-related illnesses.
Manage fire prevention and suppression systems, security measures, and the work permit system for hazardous tasks within the TOA Group. Plan and budget for the repair, construction, and improvement of fire prevention, suppression systems, and security measures annually. Develop a quarterly emergency drill plan for the TOA Group. Establish an efficient security system, ensuring the design and installation of fire prevention and suppression systems comply with laws or international standards. Monitor the performance and inspection of fire prevention, suppression equipment, and safety devices in the TOA Group monthly, ensuring they meet the planned requirements. Inspect the performance of security personnel in maintaining security. Additionally, implement an effective work permit system for hazardous tasks to prevent accidents and prepare for emergencies. This aims to enhance security, reduce fire incidents, and minimize injuries among contractors working within the TOA Group.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety.
10 years of experience in occupational health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on chemical or related industries.
Knowledge of safety regulations and food manufacturing standards.
Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising subordinates.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
Good command of English.
