Job Description:
IT Resource Planning and Allocation:
- Develop and implement resource management processes to optimize resource allocation, utilization and availability.
- Conduct resource capacity planning both internal and external vendor ensuring alignment with strategic objective and meet business demand.
- Regularly monitor and analyze the utilization, ensuring resources are not overworked or underutilized to increase capacity or optimize existing resources.
- Implement and maintain resource management tools and processes to enhance visibility, transparency and efficiency.
Project Resource Management:
- Collaborate with IT department heads to identify resource requirements (internal and external vendor) and ensure that IT resources are available for ongoing and upcoming projects/SCRs
- Monitor resource usage, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum utilization, quality, cost, and timely delivery is actively being managed
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of available resources, ensuring their availability and suitability for projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource-related conflicts
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT resource management, or related IT roles.
- Experience with IT project portfolio management and resource management tools
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing IT projects and resources.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
