IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned with company standards.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and scheduling, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct risk assessments for infrastructure projects and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and final deliverables.
• Facilitate the procurement of hardware, software, and other necessary resources for project execution.
• Implement best practices in infrastructure management and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management, with a focus on project management.
• Strong technical background in network architecture, server deployment, and cloud services (experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus).
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve project goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software to track project progress and manage resources.
