The ETP Expert is responsible for ensuring the safe, stable, and cost-effective operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). Key goals include: - Ensuring consistent and safe operation of ETP. - Minimizing operational costs while maintaining performance. - Issuing operational guidelines and instructions when changes in treatment conditions occur. For this position, minimum works are as follows: - Monitor the overall status of ETP, including daily tracking of operational parameters and lab test results to assess biological system health. - Analyze the impact of influent components (e.g., H₂S, Phenol, Cyanides, Benzene) on microbial viability and formulate response plans. - Develop and implement recovery plans in cases of microbial toxicity or out-of-spec conditions. - Calculate supplemental COD and phosphate requirements based on operational needs and lab analysis. - Conduct jar tests and basic efficiency assessments for various treatment units/packages. - Propose initiatives to improve efficiency and optimize the treatment process. - Coordinate with the Environmental Section to ensure strict compliance with environmental laws, project standards, and lender requirements. - Proactively coordinate with relevant departments to address and resolve any issues concerning inlet wastewater quality or flow
