Demand and Distribution Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provides Demand & Distribution Planning for a location, department or designated product line or business area.
• Works with assigned business, product and other stakeholders to understand demand requirements, forecasting drivers, revenue metrics and other key factors underpinning demand and distribution planning.
• Follows established procedures to develop, update and maintain demand and distribution plans.
• Works with suppliers in expediating purchase orders to insure timely delivery of the correct products and to manage processes from an efficiency standpoint.
• Maintains records of delivery, distribution, utilization and other activities, preparing monthly and other periodic progress reports.
• Researches and resolves delivery, invoicing and other discrepancies.
• Confirms documentation follows internal standards and business controls, meets management expectations and conforms to regulatory requirements.
• Supports departmental goals for expense management, high service levels and excess inventory reduction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Demand and Distribution Planning.
• Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
• Experience with spare part inventory planning for customer service is preferred.
