Data Consultant (Technical Lead)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Ownership: Independently lead data projects from inception (mostly handovered by pre-sale team) to completion, including problem definition, data acquisition, exploration, modeling, deployment, and evaluation
• Business Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Project Execution: Develop and execute project plans, monitor progress, and resolve technical challenges
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Also including presenting/training the concept/solution to all level of users/audiences if any
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, product managers, and business analysts

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred
