API Proxy Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop API proxies using Google Apigee, Tyk or Kong
• Implement API security policies, including authentication, authorization, and threat protection
• Configure traffic management policies, such as rate limiting, quotas, and caching
• Monitor and analyze API traffic and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure API compatibility and integration
• Stay up-to-date on the latest API management technologies and best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in API development and management, with a focus on Apigee or Tyk
• Strong proficiency in API design principles and RESTful APIs
• Experience with API security protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT
• Familiarity with API testing and debugging tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
