POSITION REVIEW
Pitching, managing and supporting client activity in the realm of PR, social, digital & influencer engagement. Includes coordinating the teams to develop comprehensive communication strategies for prospects, providing creative solutions to client’s challenges and embracing emerging marketing technology for the betterment of the agency and client business. You will also be in direct contact with clients and will develop strategies for prospects as well as for some of the agency’s current accounts. On top of this, you will get involved in the agency’s own communication, pushing our brand to attract a wider number of potential clients and employees online. Finally, you will be responsible for building, training, managing and retaining your own team of communication professionals within the agency.
Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, cooperating with clients and media in daily basis to grow brands and spread our client’s messages, building strong relationships with stakeholders, assisting other departments and management if need be and generating positive business results for the agency. You will be reporting to your department lead.
ABOUT YOU
- You have at least 3-5 years of working experience in a PR/communication/marketing-related field, managing both external accounts and an internal team.
- You communicate effectively, and you believe efficient communication is sparked by active listening, tactical empathy, and positive conversations.
- You trust that creativity and empathy are at the heart of great communication strategies.
- You have experience consulting corporate brands from inside or outside, with a track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders to execute complex projects in either public relations, digital communication or brand strategy.
- You have good English speaking and writing skills and you are comfortable working in a young, multicultural environment.
- You have the adaptability to handle rapidly changing requirements and priorities and multiple ongoing projects at once.
- You are highly organized, a solution-oriented critical thinker, and you are able to work well under pressure and time constraints.
TRAVEL & PLACE OF WORK
Your usual location for work will be the company’s office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, or other locations as instructed from time to time. Additional expenses incurred by you as a result of the Company directing that you work from a location other than your usual location will be reimbursed by the Company.

- Unlimited Leave: Your allocated holiday time at Vero will be unlimited. We trust our people to use good judgment when given guidelines for making decisions about taking holiday and we know that our teams work better when they can rest and take a proper break from work. Our goal is that every team takes an average of 15 days (minimum!) per person a year.
- Annual Bonus: An “enhanced 13th month” through which you will receive an annual extra sum of money equal to your salary in the preceding month plus a fraction of annual company benefits. The year-end bonus is determined by the Company and at its sole discretion. The Year-end Bonus is paid in the same paycheck of January.

- International Travel: As much as possible we push our teams to travel for events/client work. - Thought Leadership and training: We sponsor team-members with training tools and resources, both internal and external and we even incentivize employees to complete classes. For example, this could be a program organized by a group such as PR WEEK, PRCA or a training program that focuses on business in general. Across the Vero group we are seeking new and better ways to help people develop careers – and of course this would apply to the Philippines too.
- Health Insurance: The Company will provide a private medical insurance as a benefit. The actual package and structure of the insurance may be determined by the Company and at its sole discretion.
- Mental Health Budget: We understand the importance of access to proper mental health support, all our employees can access a minimum budget of $500 USD per year for therapy with internationally trained psychologists. The access to this budget and the content of your therapy are 100% confidential, only you and your therapist know what is being said during sessions, of course.
