Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Understanding User Needs : Collaborate with product owners and data engineers/scientists to gather and evaluate user requirements and identify pain points and opportunities.
- Data-Driven Design : Work with researchers and utilize user research, data analytics, and usability testing to inform design decisions, measure impact, and ensure value for users and the business.
- Design Crafting : Create excellent user flows, wireframes, UI, and user interactions, delivering the best user experience aligned with design principles and the design system.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, developers, visual designers, UX writers, and data engineers/scientists to ensure the best design solutions for both the user and the business.
- Iterative Improvement : Iterate on designs based on usability testing and stakeholder feedback, ensuring continuous refinement and improvement.
- Evolving Trends : Stay abreast of UX/UI trends, monitor competitors, and review international case studies to explore innovative ideas and ensure best-in-class user experiences.
- Design System Maintenance : Maintain a library of design assets using a design system approach, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in design, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
- Mid-level to senior-level experience in UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your passion and skills in creating meaningful designs.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar software, with mastery of Figma being a strong advantage.
- Strong critical and system thinking skills to make informed design decisions and ensure a well-organized design process.
- Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including when and how to apply them during various product phases.
- Strong logical and analytical reasoning to understand complex systems, predict potential scenarios, and grasp new concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design rationale and concepts, securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Keen sense of aesthetics and attention to detail, with the ability to translate design best practices into meaningful user experiences.
- Team spirit and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge or experience in financial or investment products is a plus, with an interest in financial services being beneficial for understanding user needs in this context.
