Tax Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
• Support clients in complying with various tax regulations, such as special business tax and stamp duties.
• Conduct research and analysis on tax issues to support the team and clients.
• Help prepare documentation for tax reviews and audits.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in providing tax advice under the supervision of senior team members.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Transfer Pricing

• Assist in preparing Transfer Pricing documentation to comply with Thai transfer pricing requirements.
• Conduct benchmarking studies and support advisory and related works.
• Help in addressing client needs and interact with clients under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on various Transfer Pricing projects.
• Ensure assignments are completed with high quality, efficiency, and punctuality.
• Participate in business development initiatives and support work related to interactions with the Revenue Department.
• Stay informed about local and international economic conditions and news relevant to transfer pricing.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge in transfer pricing and other tax-related areas.
• Familiarity with other tax areas is an advantage.
