Sr. QA Engineer (Automation Tester)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases and test systems.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts, systems.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) and external teams (e.g. vendors,
• outsources, and stakeholders) to identify system requirements.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven work experience in software development
• At least 5 years of working experience in software quality assurance (automation)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, systems and processes (selenium, robot framework)
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automation test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and systems
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
