Senior Specialist, Tax

About The Opportunity

• Prepare local tax filings, including VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax, and other tax filings (electronic / hard-copy) to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and in accordance to the relevant submission due dates.
• Prepare tax payments and reconciliation for tax accounts.
• Prepare a reconciliation revenue between corporate income tax and value added tax.
• Prepare a reconciliation of employee expenses between a corporate income tax return and PND1.k
• Ensure complete documentation of relevant supports and proof of tax remittance.
• Organize original tax invoices and withholding tax certificates to be in accordance with input and output VAT report, and the withholding tax credit.
• Provide support to accounting teams regarding tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts.
• Respond to internal and external tax inquires and assist Tax Manager with tax issues timely.
• Provide support for tax inquiries and tax audits conducted by the tax authorities.
• Perform other related ad hoc work that may be associated with tax liaison work.
• Support with the development and implementation of tax strategy
• Monitor current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate updates to policies and strategies.
• Timely monitoring and research on relevant taxation trends, legislative changes and relevant economic/fiscal changes.

What you need to be successful

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or law
• 5 years of working experience in tax field (work experience in a professional firm is preferable).
• Proficiency in computer skill (e.g., MS offices) with familiarity of accounting software.
• Good command in English is an advantage
• Detail oriented, accuracy and “Can do” attitude
• Self motivated, creative and innovation and willing to learn and good team player.
