We build and maintain the payment core systems for Zalopay, one of Vietnam’s leading e-wallet platforms. Our technology enables seamless and secure financial transactions, including payments, transfers, top-ups, withdrawals, and other financial services, while ensuring high performance, low latency, and robust scalability.
Beyond transactions, our engineering efforts extend to critical financial domains, including accounting, finance, and business operations. We manage fund flows for users and partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
You will:
Design, build, and maintain large-scale payment core systems.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Debug and resolve complex system issues, addressing performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Work in an Agile and collaborative environment with various stakeholders.
Be able to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
You may be a good fit for this role if you:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Have at least 2 years of experience in software development.
Have strong proficiency in Go (experience with Java is a plus).
Possess solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP, operating systems, and networking.
Have extensive experience with relational databases and SQL, including deep knowledge of database design and performance optimization.
Have experience with distributed caching systems like Redis.
Have experience designing and developing event-driven systems using Kafka or similar technologies.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
Have experience diagnosing and tracing system-level problems.
Nice to have:
Experience in optimizing performance and solving complex memory or computation-related issues.
Background in electronic payments, e-commerce, or FinTech systems.
Familiarity with Kubernetes or cloud platforms.
