Act as a liaison between the Creative team and all other departments. Supervise, coordinate and ensure the on time and orderly flow of all advertising from job initiation to its release and billing. Report to the Creative Director.
Manage department personnel and ensures adherence to company procedures for proper trafficking, production, and scheduling of advertisements.
To provide consistent direction and motivation to the Creative team to successfully oversee the flow of work on all products and accounts from concept development to product completion.
Own the process from inception to completion, creation of project schedule, managing resources for deliverables, raising red flags and ensuring adherence to the approval process.
You will be expected to have the right people in the right place at the right time to enable the agency to “move it forward” and produce good creative work—on time, on budget and as efficiently as possible.
Skills & responsibilities:
Manage the allocation of projects/work across the team.
Track projects delivered versus overall scope (this will include setting up an effective project management tool – eg. Microsoft Project).
Ensure the team is working at optimum capacity and move projects across teams as necessary.
Work with the Creative Director and various Team Leaders from various departments on workflow.
Work with the Creative Director on management reporting and scope for client reporting and resource negotiations.
Help allocate ad hoc projects and thought leadership projects across the team.
Qualities & experience:
Significant experience in an agency or project management role. An understanding of media agencies will be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience in managing resources across multiple projects.
Proven experience and capability in running a project management tool.
Both personable and persuasive – this is a very tight team where you will work closely with all levels. You must be able to quickly gain respect from the team as someone who will help their workflow and project management.
Strong on admin and very well organized.
A good communicator – must have good written and spoken English.
