Senior Advisor / Assistant Manager – Tax Advisory

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking tax compliance work for clients, including preparing monthly and annual tax calculations/returns (e.g., personal income tax, withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax).
• Dealing with the Revenue Department for any work required by clients, such as tax audit/tax refund work.
• Organizing and updating documents to support tax compliance work, meeting any requirements of clients and/or complying with the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Acting as the principal point of contact with clients, working closely with clients and addressing their inquiries.
• Providing training and guidance to team members regarding tax preparation and filing.
• Reviewing subordinates’ work.
• Working closely with team members and directors.
• Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Thai nationality
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3 – 8 years of experience working in the tax department of an international accounting firm
• Strong technical knowledge of the Thai Revenue Code
• Experience in dealing with the Revenue Department
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Highly responsible person, self-motivated, reliable, and organized
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals
• Ability to travel to client locations nationally
