Undertaking tax compliance work for clients, including preparing monthly and annual tax calculations/returns (e.g., personal income tax, withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax).
Dealing with the Revenue Department for any work required by clients, such as tax audit/tax refund work.
Organizing and updating documents to support tax compliance work, meeting any requirements of clients and/or complying with the firm’s policies and procedures.
Acting as the principal point of contact with clients, working closely with clients and addressing their inquiries.
Providing training and guidance to team members regarding tax preparation and filing.
Reviewing subordinates’ work.
Working closely with team members and directors.
Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Thai nationality
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
3 – 8 years of experience working in the tax department of an international accounting firm
Strong technical knowledge of the Thai Revenue Code
Experience in dealing with the Revenue Department
Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Highly responsible person, self-motivated, reliable, and organized
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals
Ability to travel to client locations nationally
