Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Manage and reconcile cryptocurrency transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, and etc.
• Monitor and develop a system to account for all financial transactions by recording cash receipts and cash disbursements, updating the existing chart of accounts and maintaining subsidiary accounts and general ledger.
• Comply with basic government reporting requirements with supervision from the Financial Controller.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for annual audits.
• Review Tax, withholding tax and perform corporate income tax (Por Ngor Dor 50, 51)
• Collaborate with finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for accounting activities.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry is preferred.
• Good communication in English , Effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Good knowledge in Accounting standards (TFRS).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting system.
