Search Engine Optimization Analyst

Job responsibilities

• Devise and execute regional SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and content efficiency. Work closely with teams at the HQ, and improve the overall web presence in the region.
• Optimize regional website and landing pages to boost visibility and traffic. Ensure compliance with best practices and local/global policies.
• Identify trending keywords for your region. Research and report on target audience search patterns, and create best practices for content writers that can be implemented across all digital assets.
• Compartmentalize regional keyword research on specific parameters (like industries, domains, and trends). Segment sub-strategies and best practices as per theses identified parameters.
• Work closely with teams at the HQ and customize PPC practices for your region to improve local web presence.
• Track and report web analytics data. Monitor and mitigate potential SEO issues, crawl errors, and broken links.
• Stay up to date with new industry practices, SEO features, and algorithm updates. Monitor competitors' SEO strategies and web visibility. Improvise accordingly.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams. Provide reports and optimize key metrics.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience as an SEO executive or similar position.
• Proficiency in SEO techniques, tools, and best practices. Deep knowledge of on page and off-page optimisation.
• Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) and website development platforms/processes.
• Bilingual fluency in the English and local languages, for both communication and general collaboration.
• An analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to explain complex technical matters in a simple manner without using jargon.
