Designing and improving the mixing process of Liquid manufacturing to support New Product Developments, Cost improvement, and Quality projects.
Assisting in process problem solving and root cause analysis as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for a variety of capital and expenditure projects from feasibility study, investigating, evaluating, and justification through purchase and installation to completion for New Product Development Projects (NPD), Cost Improvement Projects (CIP), and New Initiative engineering projects.
Control and organize all aspects of capital projects, from initial concept scoping and cost estimating through to installation, commissioning, and handover to production and maintenance.
Design Listerine and Liquid mixing process, Cleaning & Sanitizing (C&S) process, develop User Requirement Specification (URS) and Equipment Specification.
Select suitable contractors and ensure they perform to company safety and quality standards.
Estimate total project costs, set up, and manage the project budget accordingly.
Establish the project schedule and manage the project to meet the schedule.
Initiate and perform Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Computerized Software Validation (CSV) of new products, new processes, and new equipment in accordance with Quality system requirements.
Support Process Qualification of Beauty and Listerine mixing, filling process, Performance Qualification of C&S process.
Support Process Improvement and Batch cycle time reduction.
Support C&S process of mixing and filling and troubleshoot the process.
Write procedures, training materials, and assist technical associates.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
3 - 5 years of related experience in Consumer Liquid manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals and applied Engineering to manufacturing.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of statistics.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Working understanding of ISO, GMP, and Quality system requirements.
Ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to network and interact effectively with a broad range of associates spanning varied disciplines and responsibilities.
Computer literate and familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Project, etc.
Ability to understand engineering drawings (P&ID, Product, Package).
