Reporting to the Engineering Manager within the Asia Operations Team, you'll handle all product development activities and offer engineering support to vendors throughout engineering builds and debugging to meet product requirements, budget, and timelines.
HOW WILL YOU CREATE IMPACT?
• Partner with vendors and headquarters on product design to achieve target costs.
• Manage product development, engineering tasks, and debugging to fulfill product specifications and aesthetic criteria.
• Manage consigned materials and source special components, negotiating costs effectively.
• Provide technical assistance and debugging support for consigned materials as necessary.
• Support internal teams with production output concerns and material authorization reviews.
• Monitor schedules and provide on-site support from the start of development through OSD.
• Offer manufacturing support as required following Production Start.
• Experience in plastics and plastic injection molding is essential.
