Officer, Technical Data Management

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage of subsurface data and database systems, including seismic data, well data, well logs, and production data, in accordance with established standard procedures.
• Provide support for subsurface data-related tasks such as data uploading, transfer, and downloading.
• Assist in budget preparation and procurement, including developing annual budgets for technical data acquisition and facilitating the procurement process.
• Collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements for data submission.
• Provide assistance for any ad-hoc or special projects assigned by management.

Professional Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Geosciences or other related fields.
• Experience in oil and gas industry with knowledge in basic petroleum E&P operations is preferable.
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Ability to coordinate with various work groups and have a good interpersonal skill.
• Ability to operate PC and basic Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong drive and focus, positive attitude; and proactive team member.
• Self-starter, strong problem-solving ability, quality oriented, well organized and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills
