About the role

We are building the best-in-class platform for vending operations with an initial focus on our SaaS suite of vending tools integrating directly with IoT machines in real-time. Areas you’ll be working on including telemetry ingestion, inventory analytics & reporting (including applying our machine learning models) and vendor integration. There are many opportunities and being a greenfield project means there is latitude for you to have a tremendous influence on the direction of the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and scaling services. Decent English language skills are a must (Thai language skills are not required)

We operate a hybrid workplace model – working both from home and the office. We have an office located in the Ari area of Bangkok - right next to Sanam Pao BTS, above a coffee shop and next to a craft beer bar. We also offer car parking. Founding team is both Thai and international. Founding team were former US Microsoft employees, have startup experience and a background in the vending business.

Requirement 

• Building and architecting microservices- RESTful architectures
• Database experience - SQL, NoSQL and concurrency
• Proficiency in 1 or more programming language

Highly desirable skills 

• Cloud experience in AWS- Node.js experience
• JavaScript or TypeScript experience
• DevOps experience- Event driven architecture (we use Kafka) 
• Streaming data experience (e.g. websockets, gRPC)
• IoT experience (telemetry ingestion, redundancy) 
• IAM experience (we use keycloak)
