Micro Electronics and Optical Engineering Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Development and Implementation: Design and execute advanced manufacturing processes for microelectronic and optical components, ensuring they meet technical specifications and industry standards.
• Technology and Trends Monitoring: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends to foster innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best engineering practices.
• Talent Mentoring: Guide and mentor engineering teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and facilitate effective collaboration between different teams within the company.
• Industry Representation: Actively participate in industry organizations to represent the company’s engineering brand and contribute to the development of industry standards. Implement training programs to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.

Typical Experience:

• Experience: 15+ years in the assembly of optical components with a proven history of developing and optimizing manufacturing processes in high-tech environments.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge in microelectronics, optoelectronics, and related technologies.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate customer needs into effective engineering solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Manufacturing Processes: Extensive experience with microelectronics processes (e.g., flip chip, underfill, die attachment, wire bonding) and optical processes (e.g., splicing connectors, fiber management, inspection, and polishing).
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
