Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis, including valuation modeling and scenario analysis.
• Perform comprehensive market research and industry analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and market trends.
• Assist in due diligence efforts, including reviewing financial documents, contracts, and other relevant materials.
• Support deal structuring and negotiation processes, including drafting proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to facilitate the execution of transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and other documentation for stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and growth initiatives.
• Support post-merger integration activities, including coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on M&A.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Deep understanding of M&A processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to M&A transactions.
