The Regional Market Insights team influences Grab's strategic and operational decisions by offering insights on industry developments and competitive dynamics. We evaluate the landscape through diverse lenses and complement traditional market analysis with techniques. Our team comprises individual from varied backgrounds, each bringing a unique set of experiences and skills to the table. You are the one who excels at teamwork, initiates new idea, and can navigate through complexity business dynamic would excel in this role.

Get to Know the Role
You will keep the team updated on-ground insights and market movement. Facilitate team to conduct comprehensive operations activities to gain raw information and data collection for the team to support model upgrading and other analysis. You will work 5 days onsite at Grab's Bangkok office. You will report into Senior Marketing Analyst.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will collect and summarize primary data on competitor tactics, movements and public information from various sources to provide actional insights for analyst and teams

• You will monitor activities and gather insights from drivers, merchants and passengers to support team decisions

• You will maintain and update a data file to manage large datasets effectively

• You should stay informed on trends and activities in relevant sectors and markets

• You will build networks and stakeholder relationships with relevant working teams e.g. market insight, vertical team and operations teams.
  
  

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in e-commerce, ride-hailing, food delivery platform or related role with business, new graduates are welcome

• Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to manage medium-size team

• Effective planning skills to support project execution

• You have good language capability in Thai and English

• Moderate skills of Excel, PowerPoint. Simple Excel formula is required.
