Efficiently manage projects (including developing periodic fuel price projections), ensuring that client expectations are met, AFRY’s quality standards are maintained, and the project remains on schedule.
Undertake complex quantitative and qualitative analysis, guiding junior team members, ensuring that accurate and pertinent messages are drawn.
Preparing proposals and other sales material.
Balancing multiple priorities and key timelines in a typically fast-paced environment.
Contribute to continual improvement and growth of our team by proactively suggesting and implementing process improvements, developing new modelling approaches, exploring new business opportunities, implementing best practices learned from prior experience, etc.
Interact with client project managers and others to build trust and relationships.
Write reports that convey complex information in a clear and logical way in English using both Word and PowerPoint, and reviewing sections of reports prepared by others.
Deliver presentations which convey information clearly, concisely, accurately and in ways which ensure that understanding is verified.
Utilise good communication skills to manage project teams and work well within the wider office environment.

Qualifications
Managers are likely to have 8-15 years of experience in the energy and/or management consulting sectors.
Key requirement #1: Strong experience in gas/LNG commercial topics such as trading, negotiations, pricing, etc.; gas/LNG price projections; and/or energy economics
Key requirement #2: Understanding of Asian gas/LNG/hydrogen market dynamics, regulations, and policies
Also helpful is experience in topics such as gas market analysis, gas policies and regulations, management consulting, corporate strategy (or similar consulting), electricity market modelling, financial modelling of energy projects, project finance or investments, gas system planning, and/or market/commercial due diligence
At least a Bachelor’s degree, typically in Economics, Finance, Business, or Engineering from a leading university; however we also welcome candidates from other relevant backgrounds.
Fluency in English. Your ability to speak other languages is also an advantage – especially Korean and/or Japanese (but this is not necessary).
Coding skills, e.g. Python, MS SQL or VBA, are an advantage.
