Manager / Senior Manager Business Development
Responsibilities:
Grow the Agoda & BHI Ads business development efforts by identifying and securing new partnerships with a wide range of travel and hospitality industry partners across APAC.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at brands, hotels, airlines, tourism organizations, and other relevant sectors.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing, with a focus on media solutions and advertising products across Agoda and the BHI Ads network.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (BHI teams, legal, government affairs, local country teams, marketing, finance, and product) to ensure successful partnership management.
Evaluate the effectiveness of partner campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to drive additional investment and long-term collaboration.
Work closely with central Media Solutions teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to partner needs.
Prepare presentations and reports to track sales pipeline progress and contracting cycles.
Participate in and lead regular meetings to share updates and insights with stakeholders.
Represent the team at industry conferences and trade shows as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in business development and managing high-value portfolios in digital media and advertising (4+ years’ experience in sales required).
Fluency in English (verbal & written); proficiency in other Asian languages is a strong advantage.
Strong network among decision-makers in the travel, hospitality, and media sectors.
Ability to sell and tell compelling stories using data and insights.
Experience creating clear, accessible data visualizations for clients.
Strong B2B negotiation and sales pipeline management skills.
Excellent partner management abilities, with a history of influencing both internal and external stakeholders and adapting messaging to regional and cultural nuances.
Proactive approach to anticipating and managing partner needs.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, experience with Salesforce preferred. Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Meta Ads, and other major ad/media platforms is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business.
