Responsibility

• Provide advice and make recommendations regarding the information security, control and IT Security policy of all systems to all users.
• Enforce standard adherence in data security to all users and all systems.
• Ensure the statement defined in Security Policy is properly followed and up to date.
• Monitoring and analysis of cyber security events.
• Services monitored will include, but are not limited to SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Web Application Firewalls, Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Security Event Correlation and Reporting to appropriate Tier 2 Security Analyst or Incident Response staff or relevant sources to determine increased risk to the business
• Recognize potential; successful; and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
• Hands on experience with testing frameworks such as the OWASP.
• Arrange Security Awareness training to users. 

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 1 - 3 years working within Security Solution such as SIEM, firewall, IPS/IDS, Endpoint, VA.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, common protocols and standards.
• Basic knowledge of IT Security.
• Experience with SIEM technologies.
• Understanding of cyber-attack patterns and vectors, as well as compensating controls and mechanisms.
• Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware.
• Able to work as shift.
• Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems.
• Problem solving, highly responsible, self-motivated, open minded, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Good personality with service mind.
