JOB PURPOSE:
1. Consult and support our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) customer base with regards to new product development from first idea until handover to supply chain
2. Act as contact person for all PLM relevant topics in Asia
Responsibilities:
- Analyze new or amended business workflows in the IT system in close alignment with the specialist departments and corporate/global digital function.
- Ensure proper operation of implemented PLM solutions, mainly Centric PLM
- Stable PLM processes in the area of Product development, Costing, Sample Management and integration of external manufacturers
- Conduct system tests and trainings
- Act as point of contact for all PLM relevant topics in Asia
- Create functional specifications for system customizations
- Lead cross-organizational, national and international projects or sub-projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, industrial engineering, new product development or a related field
- Proven experience as an PLM Specialist or PLM Consultant or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Centric PLM system solutions and PLM process improvement
- Strong logical-thinking, analytical, data management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient English and Thai communication skills with international stakeholders
- Ability to travel occasionally depending on project requirements
