JOB OVERVIEW
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proactive, open-minded attitude. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5–10 testers, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through well-defined testing strategies and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage a QC team of 5–10 members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve test strategies and processes tailored to specific project needs.
• Oversee and participate in testing activities including batch job testing, API testing, Web & Mobile testing, SQL-based data validation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze bugs and defects to identify root causes and contribute to lessons learned and process improvements.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
• Communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QC team.
• 7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a Test Lead role.
• Proven experience in leading QC teams and managing testing efforts across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of test processes, with the ability to tailor and build processes for different types of projects.
• Hands-on experience with batch job testing, API testing, Web & Mobile testing, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Open-minded, adaptable, and quick to learn new technologies and domains.
• Solid understanding of test strategy development and implementation.
• Experience in bug analysis and deriving actionable insights for process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
