Head of Compliance

Job Description

• Accomplish Compliance’s objectives by planning, supervising, controlling and supporting all activities in the department.
• Communicate department policy and regulatory to relevant stakeholders to ensure they are aware of their role/s in compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with BOT, SEC, OIC or other relevant government compliance regulations.
• Ensure corporate compliance in accordance with internal standard, market practice, and international standards / rules.
• Conduct compliance testing, monitor and tracking compliance issues.
• Ensure compliance in accordance with AML/CFT by regulatory testing and transaction monitoring.
• Provide compliance strategy framework and develop compliance risk management model.
• Review internal compliance practice and develop mitigation action properly.
• Interact with external auditors on matter related to compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain effective record systems of compliance practices.
• Work closely with key stakeholders and head of other functions to identify undesired event and prevent misconduct.
• Produce training materials and share the best practice to key stakeholders or head of other functions.
• Prepare reports for management and external regulators as requested.
• Create strong Compliance team by developing and coaching them to improve their performance and careers.
• Complete other duties which were assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or any related fields.
• At least 10 years+ in Compliance in Bank or Financial Institutions.
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proactive working style, Can do attitude, problem solving, enjoy facing new challenges, and Team work player.
• Excellent analytic skills, strong communication, and presentation skill will be advantage.
