• Position summary: - The DC Supervisor is responsible for preparing all deliveries and shipments for dispatch, controlling inventories and stock takes within the Distribution Centre, and investigating credit claims. - This position also ensures all credits, Return Goods Authorities (RGA), and Proof Of Deliveries (POD) are monitored, recorded, and completed promptly. Additionally, it assures inventory accuracy in the system and physically. - Key Performance Indicators such as error tracking of short/over deliveries, internal transfers, repack movements, and stock accuracy are tracked with reports discussed with Management, and results displayed. • Accountabilities: To execute Warehouse & Distribution operation including: - Coordinating trucking, sailing, and railing requirements with transporters. - Coordinating loading, unloading, and other warehousing control activities. - Providing customer service: shipment information, delivery tracking, and confirmation. - Managing internal transfers: providing shipment information to receivers, delivery tracking, and confirmation. - Combining delivery orders for maximum truck utilization. - Managing warehouse control: stock movement, accuracy, and taking prompt action. - Performing performance management of service providers. - Executing all transactions in the Software System. To ensure document control and transportation tracking, planning system is in place: - Distribution planning to meet customer orders and services. - Transportation planning to meet replenishment for warehouses. - Recording, authorizing, and documenting transportation and shipping documents. - Tracking transportation and distribution costs. - Documenting and filing all Delivering & Receiving materials movements as retention records. To improve individual job skills and contribute to teamwork: - Documenting and filing all Delivering & Receiving for material movements as retention records. - Complying with department procedures and company policies. - Taking training courses held by the company for job skill improvement. - Participating in teamwork. To maintain a hygienic and safe working environment at sites: - Implementing SMART and 5’S, Visual control. - Ensuring Firefighting readiness. - Adhering to GMP standards.
