Responsibilities:

• Developing high volume transactional websites and online systems
• Developing the latest user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize web components eg Security, Performance, Accessibility and Responsive design
• Working with version control (e.g. Git) and development task management and continuous integration platforms (such as JIRA, AWS, Jenkins)
• Working closely with the business in the design, coding, testing and implementation of key projects which involves integrations with multiple systems and data sources

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in web application development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Solid experience with programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end languages (such as styled-components)
• Knowledge of React ecosystems tools including React.js, State management (such as Redux)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end builds pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
