Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Prepare financial statements in line with ABF and statutory requirements.
• Ensure monthly accounting closures are completed accurately and on time.
• Conduct thorough reviews of account reconciliations and supporting details.
• Provide timely monthly reports to management, including variance analysis.
• Collaborate with PSM (factory) and other teams to optimize capital expenditure and working capital needs.
• Serve as a business partner to implement process improvements.
• Oversee the accounting functions by developing and supervising the accounting team, providing direction, coaching, training, and development opportunities to build an effective team.
• Assist with budgeting and reforecasting on Balance Sheet, SG&A, and NWC items per ABF schedules.

Financial and Management Information System and Processes:

• Ensure accurate financial data and reporting are produced timely.
• Document and implement core finance processes.
• Continuously drive process improvements to enhance the finance function's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Control and ensure the accuracy of master data in QAD and manage user access authority in QAD and TM1 systems.
• Monitor and verify accounting transactions and supporting documents to ensure they are recorded accurately and approved according to company policies, tax regulations, and Thai GAAP.
• Review monthly account reconciliations and ensure financial reports and accounting books are prepared accurately.
• Lead monthly account reconciliations and reporting, including salary recording, balance sheet and expense analysis, TM1 data completion, and year-end financial statement disclosures.

Financial Control:

• Ensure proper internal control mechanisms are implemented to safeguard the company’s assets and resources.
• Monitor financial risks and communicate them effectively to manage expectations.
• Control and optimize SG&A spending.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to meet ABF requirements.

Taxes and Legal:

• Ensure timely compliance with tax and legal obligations, including VAT reports/payments, corporation tax, withholding tax, property tax, audited financial statements, and income tax returns.
• Prepare and submit corporate tax return forms (Phor Ngor Dor 50 and 51).
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and legal counsels as necessary.
• Represent the company in external compliance matters.

Compliance:

• Support the ABC initiatives, including Gift and Hospitality (G&H), Whistleblowing, and third-party compliance.
• Adhere to accounting policies and procedures for ABF, TwO, and statutory requirements.
• Comply with Thailand laws and regulations.

Other Responsibilities:

• Continuously improve accounting processes and internal control effectiveness.
• Supervise and coach the accounting team.
• Undertake additional tasks and activities as directed by the line manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Over 10 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficient in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting (both statutory and group reports).
• CPA preferred.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
