Responsible for the overall accounting operations of the company in Thailand.
Responsible for accounting operations from Accounts Payable, fixed assets register, cash flow management, monthly bank reconciliations, month end closing etc.
Ensure timely submission of monthly management reports, including variance analysis, commentary, and notes to the accounts.
Ensure all transactions and intercompany billings are accurately accounted for and confirmed every month. Identify and follow up any un-reconciled items.
Prepare & coordinate bi-weekly cash flow forecast and report to parent company.
Review payment preparation & ensure all internal SOP has been followed strictly, on a frequency as agreed with the line manager.
With assistance from line manager, liaise with external auditors, primary responsibility of annual audit, prepare audit schedules and coordinate of audit process as well as establishing proper planning to minimize audit issue that may arise.
Timely preparation and filing of audited financial statements.
Support internal audits initiated by parent company, and ensuring all key findings are implemented.
Responsible for all aspects of local tax compliance and reporting requirements – including timely and accurate filing of GST and corporate income tax returns, tax and CPF payments, deferred tax calculations, and ensure transfer pricing documentation are fulfilled under relevant transfer pricings laws and regulations to manage risks.
Manage relationship with corporate secretary and lead any corporate actions such as new entity incorporation, amalgamations, or liquidations.
Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time and in timely manner.
What skills and experience you will need?
Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant Professional qualification. Qualified / Certified Accountant is preferred.
Well-versed in IFRS and Local GAAP.
At least 5 years of hands on in handling full sets of accounts experience & sound knowledge in local taxes.
Experience from eCommerce sector would be an advantage.
Candidate will be “hands-on” and strong in both systems and people skills.
Having experience in dealing with oversea entities is advantageous.
Knowledge in using Microsoft D365 would have an advantage.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office application and possess computerized accounting software knowledge.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Candidate has excellent communications and leadership qualities. Able to work and communicate with all levels of management and having a global perspective.
