Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Business Support/ Partnership

• Understand the key business drivers and participate in the decision-making process such as pricing exercise or/ marketing campaign to boost sales

• Provide meaningful insights into financial performance as well as constructive suggestions to drive continuous improvement of the business

• Support as a strategic business partner to promote long-term profitability and growth of the company while controlling/mitigating risk.

Month-end Closing

• Work with the operation team and head office shared services to coordinate and align processes so that information is provided on time for month end closing, such as incentives posting or invoice issuing process

• Perform margin analysis using Tractor along with Incentive, accrual analysis, and expense analysis and review these before month-end closing.

• Update and analyze the Six-month Cash Flow Report to manage the cash for GFS Thailand.

• Review and approve monthly financial statements prior to the month-end closing.

• Assist shared service accounting during the year-end audit to review the audited financial statements before submitting to management for approval.

Financial Planning Analysis and Reporting

• Create budget and forecast models for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow to accurately project and report financial outlooks.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support the decision-making processes. This may include building models for cost analysis, financial projections, capex evaluations, and scenario analysis.

• Monitor key finance KPIs such as free cash flow, costs, revenues, and expenses.

Background and experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 10 years+ experience in a similar role (automotive experience desirable, but not necessary)
• Demonstrated experience in finance reporting, with an ability to provide business recommendations based on numbers
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing scenarios
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and perform under pressure
