Main Responsibilities:
1.1 Business Financial Management
- Provide advice to improve financial returns by dealing directly with General Managers and leadership teams in various countries. Offer timely and accurate analysis of financial information and relevant recommendations to enhance financial returns.
- Monitor and control business performance by continuously comparing actual results against the budget/target, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage selling price trends and issues, including promotions and discounts, while incorporating external economic factors into marketing planning.
1.2 Management Reporting
- Take full responsibility for delivering timely, accurate, and appropriate management information. Prepare monthly management financial reports to support decision-making processes, such as Profit Control Analysis and Pacesetter Reports.
- Ensure reporting procedures are clearly defined and updated to meet current and future business needs.
- Participate in regular reviews with Management and Leadership Teams.
1.3 Budgeting Process
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget by reviewing future business plans to develop budget and strategy plans.
1.4 Financial Planning
- Provide input and recommendations for financial planning, such as managing loss stores from loss to break-even and profit, allocating resources among various projects, and potential store renovations to generate higher returns.
1.5 Risk Management
- Reduce risks to the brand by ensuring operations comply with tax regulations and financial statements accurately and completely reflect all related transactions.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new outlets and control CAPEX for new and renovated outlets.
1.6 Management Information Systems
- Actively participate in the selection and implementation of financial and operational systems.
1.7 Manage Balance Sheet Items
- Improve working capital, return on assets, and CAPEX management.
2. Job Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Excellence in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in computer programs.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Education:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s Degree and CPA certification are a plus.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in an accounting or financial role, including feasibility studies, with 8 years at the management level.
- Experience in the food service, hotel, or retail industry is an advantage.
