Core Responsibilities and Activities

• Experience in Design and development of exterior (Front, Rear and Center) lighting using Catia V5
• Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements & integration with vehicle
• Good Knowledge in lighting Regulation management
• Lighting visibility check and suggestion for optimization
• Experience in designing Lamp housing, Heatsink, 2K Lens, light blades, Bezels, Base plates Lamp assemblies.
• Hands on experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Metal Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation
• Integration of electrical PCB’s, connectors with space optimization techniques
• Knowledge on thermal, mechanical and defogging requirements for lamps
• 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
• Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system
• Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements
• Should coordinate with engineers located at different global technical centers.
• Co-ordination with OEM and supplier resident engineer if required
