Digital Engineer

Position Details

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage digital applications, including DFOS, SPC, MCOF and other factory automation systems/project.
  • Drive the digital factory agenda by ensuring the seamless operation on adoption and increase data online tag and digital data flows
  • Establish, maintain, and troubleshoot data connections for digital projects, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that integrate advanced digital tools and systems to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Serve as a central point of contact among the global deployment team, production, and external suppliers, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Partner with Process Engineer to build capabilities in digital engineering, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to digitize operations within the supply chain.


Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating and driving projects/transformation in digital platform
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, particularly in a digital engineering role.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for digital systems
  • Experience in digitizing operations within the supply chain and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong foundation in OT network and digital infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in setting up and supporting digital projects across manufacturing sites.
  • Expertise in PLC, data boxes, data connection protocols, and OPC UA
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex digital systems and networks.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams, production, and external suppliers.
  • Experience leading foundational digital initiatives, promoting the data driven approach.
  • Proficiency in process improvement and analytical skills, with a focus on driving business operation improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
