Develop high quality, clean and easy to scale backend (and partial of frontend) application for market data analytics content focusing on commodity market
Develop minimum level of monitoring system (e.g. irregular data detection, alert, logging)
Produce minimum level of software development document
Provide 3rd level support of application and relevant systems
Research on new technology to improve current application and relevant infrastructure efficiency and robustness
Required Experience
3-7 years of professional experience in software development, at least 5 years for senior role
Complete at least 2 cycles of software project development from kick-off to delivered
Software development working in or with financial institutional would be advantage
Experienced in stock exchange or derivative exchange data would be advantage
Required Skills
Proficient in Python, Java, Shell script, Window/Linux OS
Familiar with web standards and protocols such as HTTP and socket APIs in general
AWS cloud development, hands-on experience
Knowledge of XML, XML schema, Web Service technology
Knowledge of unit testing and system testing
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Preferred Skills (not Required But With Advantage)
VBA (Excel Macro), C++, Database programming, R programming
JavaScript/TypeScript or shared component libraries
Node.JS, AugularJS, Web Server technologies
Knowledge in applied statistic such as data/probability distribution, linear/non-linear regression, classification model and others would be more advantage.
