Project Ownership: Independently lead data projects from inception (mostly handovered by pre-sale team) to completion, including problem definition, data acquisition, exploration, modeling, deployment, and evaluation
Business Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
Project Execution: Develop and execute project plans, monitor progress, and resolve technical challenges
Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices
Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Also including presenting/training the concept/solution to all level of users/audiences if any
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, product managers, and business analysts
Requirements
Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in data science or a related field
Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred
