Customer Engineer/ Presales and Solution Architect

Roles and responsibilities

• A go-to key Cloud technical person in the consulting team who can provide technical consultation to the clients
• Conduct technical discovery, validate solutions for the clients and take part in creating technical proposals
• Producing part or all of the technical solution for clients, in accordance with an agreed technical design by working closely with a sales team, cloud development team and related partners as required.
• Resolving or escalating the issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate parties for clarification and resolution
• Ability to design and engineer Cloud Based Infrastructure solutions and Cloud Native Technologies and offerings.
• Continually keeping abreast with new/emerging technology
• Providing consultation to sales team to validate the solution components and arrive at resource estimation
• Regularly attend customer meetings with the sales team at a customer site or video call.
• Conduct technical presentations/training/consultations at customer sites and/or company events.
• Achieve and maintain certifications in your specialized areas

Requirements

• 3+ years work experience in similar job position
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts such as SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
• Experience with computer infrastructure and networking concepts such as routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Experience with Devops tools, containerisation and CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of API and being able to perform simple requests.
• Willingness to upskill and adapt to new technologies.
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Work well in teams with willingness to share ideas and collaborate.
• Google Professional Architect & Devops, Engineer Certification. (Azure or AWS certifications will be a plus)
