Lead and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution processes, involving Zipcode and its affiliated entities.
Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all legal matters related to real estate investment activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.
Draft, review, and negotiate business agreements or legal documents in both Thai and English including lease agreements, consulting contracts, employment contracts, etc.
Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with strategic initiatives and business operations.
Compliance & Policy
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting real estate operations, such as zoning laws, land use regulations, environmental laws, fair housing laws, and tax laws.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and streamline legal processes within the organization.
Advise on corporate governance matters, including compliance with corporate policies, board governance, and shareholder relations.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.
Due Diligence
Conduct thorough due diligence investigations for real estate transactions and business ventures undertaken by Zipcode and its affiliated companies.
Legal Administrative
Manage all legal matters and support legal administrative tasks related to the business of the Company and its affiliates.
Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the real estate sector and affiliated businesses.
Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
7 years of legal & compliance management required.
Experience in Real Estate Development is preferable.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate law, including property rights, land use regulations, leasing, and financing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbally and written)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and management skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills - for writing and monitoring legal schedules and utilizing time and resources effectively.
Self-driven, ability to work independently and manage productivity.
Strong attention to detail for conducting site inspections and managing complex contracts.
Ability to make decisions under pressure.
