Support business teams by improving system configurations or developing new features in COBOL/mainframe applications.

Monitor system performance and investigate any system or production issues. Provide clear root‑cause analysis and suggestions to prevent the same problem from happening again.

Help improve code quality and increase automation, especially in testing.

Stay updated on technology trends and look for ways to improve systems or create better technology solutions for the company.

Create and update documentation for development work and production support processes to make sure everything is clear and efficient.

Experience as a COBOL Developer or a similar mainframe role.

Minimum direct COBAL experience 6+ years.

Understanding of mainframe technologies, including batch and online processes.

Skills in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and TSO.

Knowledge of system modernization techniques.

SQL skills.

Experience with IBM RTC is a plus.
