Who is Cloud HM?
- Founded in 2014, we are the industry leader in the Thai cloud market.
- Over 1,000 enterprises trust us for our multi cloud, DevSecOps and big data services.
- We offer cutting edge technology to help our customers grow their business.
- Our revenue has been growing 2x yearly. We expect our revenue to hit 400 MB (12 mn USD) in 2023.
- We are looking for people to come further develop our business.
What kind of engineer do we need?
- We are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving problems and isn't fond of strictly adhering to processes, because a true engineer's role is about problem-solving.
- We need an engineer who loves learning new technologies and isn't afraid to explore and study new things.
- I'm a tech enthusiast, and I'm committed to self-improvement. I'm not afraid of what I don't know because I have Google. I enjoy reading and learning continuously.
- We seek an engineer who enjoys experimenting with new things in a lab environment.
- An engineer who understands that we are in the tech field, not accounting. If I stop learning, within 5-6 years, I'm at risk of losing my job because the tech world changes rapidly. It's not like accounting, which has remained somewhat constant over 50 years. Knowledge of tech/IT from 15 years ago doesn't help me in the fast-paced world of Cloud. So, I have to keep learning.
- Someone who takes pride in completing their work, not just finishing it. Completing a job means solving problems for customers, not just responding to them.
- Having a fundamental understanding of VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, or DevSecOps is a plus. We're not serious about you being an expert from day one because we believe that there's nothing too difficult for someone who's willing to put in the effort to learn and research, including using Google for additional information.
What kind of engineer do we not want?
- Just want to work in a conventional manner.
- Focus on following processes rather than problem-solving.
- Choose engineering solely for a high salary without a genuine interest in facing and resolving challenges or learning new things.
- Avoid social interactions at work (dislike joining parties or activities) because we understand that customer communication can be stressful. Therefore, if colleagues don't enjoy working with us, it can be very dull.
What are the responsibilities of an engineer?
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices to protect cloud environments and data.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
What will an engineer gain from Cloud HM?
- The most cutting-edge knowledge and experience in the cloud market, which is currently in high demand.
- Experience and expertise that you will never forget.
