Business Intelligence Lead (Shopee)

Job Description

• Work closely with stakeholders to define and own KPIs and metrics to enable visibility of the operations performance with actionable data to drive better decision-making.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team to develop accurate data queries.
• Control and organize the reports and dashboards to be reliable, scalable, and actionable for management using spreadsheets and in-house data tools.
• Control and maintain reporting workflows and data marts under the governed practices to run daily and weekly report data smoothly.
• Write documents for training, updating, and centralizing the knowledge of standard data tables and reporting products of the team.
• Manage and fix data and report issues timely when there is an error or data migration.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including task assignment, workload management, and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and aligning BI initiatives with organizational goals.
• Work closely with management level in terms of the update and catch up matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Data Analyst, Statistics, Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Logistics, Business, Management, IT, Software, or any related field.
• At least 4 years of work experience of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of database management system, data warehouse, data modeling, data mart, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with BI and data tools, including spreadsheets solutions
• Intention to create and provide accurate data, efficient reports, and attention to detail.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Good English communication skills.
• Business knowledge of any part of an e-commerce platform and operations, such as Logistics, Warehouse, Payment, Fraud, Seller Management, and Customer Services.
• At least 3 years of work experience. Project management experience will be a bonus
