About the role
As a Full-Time Junior/Associate Teacher Assistant in English language, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher and creating a nurturing learning environment for kids, specifically in kindergarten settings. You will assist in preparing class concepts, facilitating activities, and fostering positive interactions with students to enhance their English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Assist in creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help in English language
- Help in preparing materials for lessons, including visual aids and worksheets
- Participate in teacher-parent meetings and communicate student progress effectively
Qualifications
- A passion for working with children and a desire to support their educational journey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with kids
- Basic understanding of English language concepts and teaching methods for young learners
- Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and staff members
