Specialist, IT Applications

General Responsibilities

• Provide support on driving function application strategy and technology platform that align to group IT strategy and direction
• Provide support on global and local IT projects includes SAP applications
• Provide support on change request on global and local, SAP applications
• Provide support for overall function application supports incident resolution and service request
• Maintain IT applications policies, standards, best practices and guidelines, ensuring compliance with audits, standards and alignment with Group IT
• Ensure recovery plans for critical applications are developed and maintained as part of business continuity/recovery plans
• Monitor service levels/key performance indicators as assigned, ensuring prompt application support and adjusting/resetting in-line with business requirements
• Provide knowledge transfer to users and consistently communicate/engage feedback for improvements
• Facilitate business needs/requirements for changes/improvements
• Facilitate user/vendor communications on effective/functional use of applications

Functional Skills And Knowledge

• Minimum five years' experience in SAP
• Demonstrate experience in IT application functional/technical knowledge on SAP and related technologies.
• Be abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities within the specific domain/area of expertise
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate good commands in both written and spoken English
