Senior Interior Technical Designer

* Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Interior Designer to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong foundation in interior design, with particular expertise in technical areas such as space planning, building codes, and construction documentation. The Technical Interior Designer will work with our design team to translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring the successful completion of projects from initial concept to final construction. * Responsibilities: • Work with the design team to create functional and innovative interior design concepts that align with client needs and project objectives. • Generate detailed technical drawings, including sections, elevations, floor plans, and construction details, using software like AutoCAD. • Develop comprehensive construction documentation packages including schedules, specifications, and material selections, ensuring adherence to industry standards and building codes. • Review shop drawings, samples, and prototypes to confirm they meet design specifications and quality standards. • Stay up-to-date on new materials, industry trends, and construction techniques to inform design choices and improve project outcomes. • Maintain effective communication with team members and other teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met. • Efficiently manage and coordinate input information while also checking project output information. • Attend project meetings, client consultations, and presentations as required.
